BC Support Team and BRAID Contacts

The Volunteer Services Committee coordinates the work of the BC Support Team and BRAID to help BCs to further our mission.

Breastfeeding Counselors with questions that relate to a difficult or unusual breastfeeding helping situation or who need access to more technical breastfeeding resources are encouraged to contact BRAID (Breastfeeding Resources And Information Department), by completing the BRAID Contact Form and emailing it to BRAID@breastfeedingusa.org. You can also bring helping situations to the online BC Chat group at BC_discussion@breastfeedingusa.org while logged into your Breastfeeding USA account. Please remove identifying information of mother and child before posting.

Breastfeeding Counselors with any other questions or concerns may contact the BCSupport@BreastfeedingUSA.org, which is equipped to help find answers to questions about Breastfeeding USA policies and procedures, to provide guidance in handling Community Chapter issues, and to direct Breastfeeding Counselors to other resources to help them in their work. Breastfeeding Counselors may contact BC Support Team members using the email information below. While BCs are welcome to contact anyone on the BC Support Team, the team is organized by region to ensure that every Breastfeeding Counselor will have an individual support person. If your question is time-sensitive, you can bring it to the BC Chat or to the BC Facebook closed group.
